Due to the nature of our networking ministry, thousands of dollars of corporate and individual donated materials have been transported and distributed in Mexico through BCM partners and allied missionaries, pastors, and organizations. In the past, groups have planned special events including Christmas fiestas, baby showers, Bible School gatherings, medical outreaches and community outreaches where food and materials are distributed. There are several ways that you can become involved: Supporting BCM Administration: It takes about $10,000 a month to run our operation. Financial support is continually needed. Please pray and ask the Lord if He would have you support this ministry on a monthly basis, or with a one-time gift. Checks should be made out to "Baja Christian Ministries" and sent to 4195 Chino Hills Pkwy., PMB #390, Chino Hills, CA 91709-2618. We are also set up to receive the donation of stocks. All gifts are tax deductible. Thank you for considering giving to this vital ministry. Personal or Group Donations: Project groups and individuals often bring extra items to Mexico that can be distributed to the recipient family or surrounding neighbors. Items might include food, new blankets, new shoes, new baby items, new tools, new household goods, new toiletries, new toys, Bibles, Spanish Gospel literature, etc. Secure Corporate Donations: Perhaps you work for a corporation, or have corporate contacts, and can secure large quantities of surplus materials. In the past, BCM has received truckloads of new shoes, food, toys, and other items. If possible, try to arrange transportation of donated items as well. Collecting and Transporting Donated Items: BCM has need for people to collect donated materials and coordinate (or provide) transportation of materials. BCM has secured storage space in San Diego as a staging and temporary depot for getting materials across the Mexican border. If you can assist in any of these ways, please contact BCM. All donations are tax deductible.
Note: Due to border restrictions, we ask that used clothing and used shoes not be donated. There are other items that are illegal as well. We work according to the laws of the land in Mexico, and closely with their government. As a result, God has given us favor with the Mexican government. Please check with our office before bringing items into Mexico to make sure they are legal or whether a permit is required. Some items may be taxed. We will help you obtain permits.
