The BCM Team
Bob Sanders
Bob Sanders has been serving the poor of Mexico since 1984 when he led groups from Azusa Pacific University on short-term outreaches. In September 1991, he founded Baja Christian Ministries. Bob is an evangelist and a visionary. His commission is to build up and equip God's people for works of service among the poor (Eph. 4: 11-12). His passion is to stir many into love and good deeds (Heb. 10:24-25), and to build a network of partners--a vanguard army--to reach Baja communities simultaneously for Jesus Christ. Isaiah 58 has been a scripture dear to Bob's heart. This, Acts 20:20, and 2 Cor 1:10-11 are the foundation of this Ministry. Bob believes, "The poor have few earthly advocates, and believes the body of Christ, must be their voice and serve them through Christ's love," He sees his main role as sharing the vision of Baja Christian Ministries with groups and individuals throughout the United States and the world and networking partners. Part of that function is raising funds, provide oversight, networking partners, relationship building, Hebrews 10:24-25 communication, building in the multiplier and doing the work of evangelism in the communities amongst the US and Mexican groups. He is joined in this ministry with his wife, Janet, and four children: Rebekah, Joshua, Timothy, and Joseph and two grandchildren.
