Dear Friends, Family and Partners of BCM,

I am so grateful for the loving and faithful care you have brought to our BCM team, the poor, the unsaved, the un-discipled, and countless precious lives on both sides of the border. Thank ed pills au you for your faithful prayers, hands on service, and financial giving. We are so thankful to God for your involvement!

In these times of instability, accelerated corruption and evil, uncertainty, political and racial conflict and division in which we are engulfed, we may ask, “Are there political or other sure solutions for protection, provision, revival and restoration in these times that we, our children and our grandchildren, are living in?” As far as political solutions go, only God knows, but as to sure solutions for God’s people and those who will heed his Word, follow His ways and trust His precious promises, I say yes and amen! For He is faithful, and has a way for us through these troubled times.

Some may ask, “Dare I believe?” A better question might be, “Dare I not believe?” For God the Father through Jesus Christ is our only hope and solution, and our solution is to connect to Him and His ways!

Romans 12:21 states, “Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil by doing good.” We as the church are partners with God for overcoming evil. We must share that responsibility with the weapons of our warfare He entrusts us with. 2 Corinthinians 10:6 states this truth, “And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your (our) obedience is complete.” What is this obedience He is calling us to? Surely worshiping Him in spirit and truth, prayer and intercession, and wholehearted engagement in fulfilling His Great Commission to the nations through evangelism, discipleship and deeds of compassion, not forgetting the strong call to “remember the poor”! (Gal 2:10)

One the greatest promises of our time for our churches, families and nations to secure protection, provision and health, is Psalm 41:1-3: “Blessed is he who considers the poor. The Lord delivers him in times of trouble, the Lord will protect and preserve his life, He will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.” It is good to read this promise in several versions of the Bible to get fuller meaning!

In no time, since 9/11, have we needed His promise to “deliver us from the will of our enemies” more than now. We must realize that this is the time to be the Church in action. And that is what you who partner with us are being!

As you probably know, along with building homes and church buildings through the many teams worldwide, we are very committed to evangelism and discipleship in the Baja peninsula through preaching and distributing Bibles and Purple Books. One godly couple and their foundation, who wish to remain unnamed, have totally financed the full staffing of our BCM Bible / purple book team, and purchased all of the Bibles and purple books. By the end of the year we are expecting to have distributed close to 200,000 sets, with a total of 100,000 purple books completed. We track both conservatively. Our goal in the Baja peninsula is the distribution and completion of one million purple books.

There is a lot of talk about securing our borders. Along with helping the poor through houses and churches, I don’t think there is anything we could do to secure our borders better than to have one million people complete the purple book in this peninsula, along with the prayers of many! Communities, churches, orphanages, rehabs and prisons are being greatly impacted for righteous results through the joint tool of a Bible and a purple book.

Humor me for a moment and hear what I say. If a million people in the Baja peninsula prayerfully completed the purple book I believe Baja would be one of the safest and most godly places on the earth today. Our BCM regional purple book directors are warriors and I believe we could become ready and willing to send directors all along the Mexican border. We are reaching all the way from Mexicali to La Paz at this time. We have one director in the state of Sonora, south of the Arizona border, saturating that area. His church has also sent out people to start purple book groups in Cuba. If we had other foundations that were willing to fund directors and Bibles and purple books to saturate some of the hot spots like Juarez and Reynosa, and other cities along the Texas border, that could be arranged. Funding is the only thing that would hold that back. Would you please pray with us for this!?

Since my last letter God has been moving powerfully in Baja through you all.  Many churches, teams and individuals have served as the church on the way out the door to serve the lost and the poor.  Much fruit is being produced for and through our Lord Jesus Christ! Many thanks to these wonderful teams!  October will be a big month of ministry for BCM.  We ask that you would continue to lift up all of these mission teams in prayer.  An entire list of all mission teams can be found on the current schedule page.

Thank you for supporting the Lord’s work through BCM in these challenging times through prayer, hands of service and giving.  Let us continue to fight this good fight of faith together!

Gratefully,
Bob Sanders and BCM team
