More Carpenters and Bi-lingual Transalators still needed!

Hello Friends of BCM... Newsboys, Global Expeditions (GE), and Global Tribe are partnering with BCM to build 12- 20 houses for the poor in Baja the last two weeks of July, 6-10 houses each week. This outreach is called "Baja Blast 2010". 

We need more CARPENTERS to lead house building groups of young GE missionaries from all over the country. You would be leading and teaching them your skill as you build a house together in 4 days. 

We also need more BI-LINGUAL TRANSLATORS to serve with the GE teams going out to do the work of evangelism and various forms of outreach ministry.

These are both volunteer tasks. We have bunk facilites and catered food available. There are two trip opportunities. You can serve in one or in both. The committment is 4 and 1/2 days for each trip: The first is from Sunday, July 18th, through Thursday, July 22nd. The second is from Sunday afternoon, July 25th, through Thursday, July 29th.

If you can commit, we'll need you for all of the 41/2 days. If you live locally in Baja you can commute if you like (with a team of other Christian bi-lingual friends! ) Then this will only cost you the price of gasoline to get to the meeting site. Oh course, if you'd like, you can stay at the mission facility, Rancho Jireh. If you have a greater distance to travel, the price for food and lodging is $128, along with the price of gasoline to get there.

"Hello Everyone! I believe in what Baja Christian Ministries (BCM) is doing in Baja! Reaching souls for Christ, they’re helping to lay a solid Biblical Foundation in people’s lives through the distribution of Spanish Bibles and Purple Books. Because they’re doing so well, they desperately need more!  Please help us reach the goal of one million Purple Books in the Baja Peninsula.  I have donated one of my oil paintings. It is being shipped now to an anonymous donor who gave $2,000 to BCM for the Purple Book Program.  I have decided to donate another  and an original hand painted drum head  to help stimulate funding for this great cause! This time we are going to do a raffle to make them accessible to all. A raffle ticket donation to Baja Christian Ministries for $20 a ticket. Of course if you donate more than one your chances of winning are better and you are also helping to put more Bibles and PB discipleship books in the hands of more people in Baja.  The drawing will take place on Thursday, May 20, when the winners will be announced. First name drawn will receive the painting. The second name drawn will receive the painted drum head.
