Blessings and greetings from your friends at BCM! What an incredible year 2021 has been! Overall, this year has been a refining one where our trust in the Lord was put to the test as we passed through unexpected trials and circumstances. We’ve been challenged to keep moving forward and persevere in what God has entrusted us with. (James 1:3) Amazingly, even amid difficulty, we have seen this ministry continue to have an impact: not only in an increased quantity of people impacted but also in depth.

We can confidently say that our God is good, and He does not abandon us in our time of need. “His mercies are new every morning; great is his faithfulness!” (Lam. 3:23). “He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Ps. (34:18) “Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces are never covered with shame!” (Ps. 34:18, 5)
In this spirit of gratitude, we would like to recount what God has done through this ministry in this past year. He deserves all the glory!

After building most of the homes last year on behalf of our mission team partners in 2020, this year, we have begun to welcome back many of our mission teams in person, with still more teams scheduled to come back in 2022. The house building program has gone through many changes during this time of Covid, but God is faithful and remains our great Provider- sometimes in new and unexpected ways. Last month, for example, we received a Lowes donation of windows for nearly 50 houses! Being able to bless families with solid, quality homes continues to be one of our greatest joys and privileges! We are so thankful to partner with some fantastic teams this past year in building 31 houses.

The Bible and Purple Book Discipleship program continues to thrive and expand throughout Mexico and Latin America. Amazingly we are set to hit the mark of 50,000 people signed up by the end of 2021! One of our highest years yet! Our Purple Book directors cover most of the region in Mexico, and thousands of people have been impacted by the Word of God through this program this year. From prisons to rehabilitation homes to small groups to church fellowships, testimonies continue to pour in how this program is changing peoples’ lives.

A few years ago, BCM launched Project Little Child to support and serve children and parents through a free daycare service. Early this year, this program expanded into a full-time education center. With many schools still not fully open in Mexico, providing children with quality education is a growing and dire need in the poor communities we serve.

Currently, 70 children are enrolled full-time in our “Refugio de Amor” learning center, where they receive daily meals, academic support, and spiritual input from our staff and teachers. Our dream is to launch more learning centers like this that offer kids a
A welcoming, wholesome and loving place to grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

As we reflect upon this year with gratitude for the Lord’s provision and sustenance, we also look forward to this next year of 2022 as we anticipate continued growth and breakthrough. We are so thankful for you- our partners and friends! Your encouragement and support are so appreciated! We bless you and pray God’s abundant peace, favor, and protection upon your lives and in your spheres of influence. We hope and pray our paths meet in 2022, and we thank you for continuing to keep us all here in Baja and beyond in your thoughts and prayers.

Con much amor,

Eric and Rebekah Prager
